Three years of being married!!

When i started blogging, i wasnt even engaged and now i have completed 3 years of being married..

Life is tough and married life is no exception..EA and me have no major problems with each other..touchwood! The sad part is that 99% of our fights are due to something said or done by MIL/SIL/MIL's bro/MIL's bro's wife etc etc.

The good part is that we have matured so much in these 3 years..parenting an almost 2 year old is another cementing factor..we understand each others' likes and dislikes and adjust as much as possible. I cant tolerate AC for long hours while EA cant sleep without the AC at a temperature of 16!!! I have to admit that i sleep with a shawl around my head every night!!! I switch off the AC once EA and Ovi are asleep..

The past year has been an emotional roller coaster with FIL's illness and untimely demise..FIL used to sms me to wish me as soon as he woke up at 5.30am..This time i looked at his photo on the wall and missed his sms!:(

So, on our wedding day(which luckily was a Sunday) we had some idlies and pooris from a nearby restaurant for breakfast(i refused to cook except for Oviya!) We then went to Ampa Skywalk, had some chocolates from Cookieman, got a pic clicked at the computerised Van Gogh thing. Then went to Four Seasons and got a lovely non veg platter, a Mutton Biriyani and a dessert called Umm Ali(i forgot all about my diet..the dessert was ok ok..i should have got my fav Qubani Ka Meetha..i wanted to try something new but it wasnt great) for lunch. Came home and had the lovely lunch. Then, we went to visit MIL and came home after getting some Panipuri and Dahipuri for dinner from Rasbhojan on the way home.. EA got me a gold ring as a gift the previous day..i got him a Carolina Herrera perfume.. A nice anniversary celebrated..hoping for many more beautiful anniversaries!:) I made this sweet called 7 cup sweet-its for lazy people like me - U just take 1 cup each of milk,ghee,besan,coconut and 3 cups of sugar and mix it on low flame and then spread it on a greased plate and refrigerate!!
