Oviya's Singham

The first time Oviya was playing in a tub, EA happened to be singing the title song of the Tamil movie "Singham."

After a few days, when Oviya saw the tub, she called it "Singham!"

Even though i have tried telling her it is a tub, she still says "Singham!!"

Oviya is able to identify almost all South Indian heroes courtesy watching music channels the whole day!

I wanted to start teaching her the alphabet and got her a CD which was meant for pre-schoolers. I couldnt believe my eyes when it said A for Aeroplane, B for Butterfly, H for Helicopter and so on. Whatever happened to Apple, Bat, Hat etc. It also had a part about shapes and there was Hexagon, Pentagon, Sphere, Hemisphere etc...Uff, seems like our education system needs a massive overhaul!

I finally gathered the courage to atleast trim Oviya's hair. My orthodox MIL had warned not to cut her hair but i went ahead considering hygiene and convenience. Ovi had unmanageable hair before. She hated it if i oiled it, combed it or put a pony. She hates headbath and has even puked twice out of fear of the shampoo. I am so happy with her hair now! The funniest part was when she screamed at the Green Trends salon while her hair was being cut. She kept saying " Kadavule Kadavule"(God, God!!)
