Oviya is just 3 months away from turning 2 and as usual time has flown by so quickly!
She is a hyperactive toddler and drives me crazy most of the time! I have to keep an eye on her every moment and she doesnt even let me visit the loo or bathe in peace. Whatever she is doing, she wants me to be in the background and if i move out of the room, she follows me.
We were at Hyd for 3 weeks and when i went for my lasik operation, she was in tears and held on to my mom until i returned. I was so scared that she would pull my protective glasses or hurt my eye but she was a good girl during the recovery period of 1 week. At my sister's engagement, i left her with EA while i accompanied my sis to the parlour and she threw such a tantrum that everyone who attended the function would never forget her!!
She speaks a few words now and she is a quick learner. She babbles in her baby language which i sometimes dont understand at all. Her favourite word at present is "Shampoo" and she keeps saying it atleast 10 times a day! When we tell her to say "Appa", she says " Amma" but she faithfully repeats all other words much to EA's irritation!Her other favourite words are "Soap" and "Soup". Even Rasam is Soup for her!
She needs the AC as much as possible exactly like EA whereas i cant stand it for long hours. She hates curd like EA. She is still a very fussy eater and i am at my wits end making her eat. Yesterday, she had Bhel Puri with a spoon at Shree Mithai and i was surprised to see her eat it like an adult. Shopping with her is a nightmare and either me or EA have to manage her while the other shops. As a result, we just pick up something without looking through stuff. She seems to be more religious than me and EA and touches God's idols and then touches her forehead. My Dad taught her to say "Sai" and she says it fervently. Her favourite songs at present are "Evan Di Unna Pethan" and "Bhaag DK Bose"!!
She likes kids and boldly goes upto them, smiles and tries to hug and kiss them irrespective of their age.

At the rate at which she is talking, she is going to kick up a storm soon!!
When i shout at her, she shouts back at me in her own language but her tone and voice modulation is perfect!!
